Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SKALR (“SKALR,” “we,” or “us”) collects and uses information when you visit our US early-access page at skalr.app/en or interact with our voice or chat assistant on that page. SKALR is operated by Niklas Kreyenhagen, Auf den Höfften 32, 49434 Neuenkirchen-Vörden, Germany. You can reach us at niklas@skalr.app.

We are in an early-access phase for the United States. We collect as little information as possible and we do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you provide: your email address and, optionally, your business type and any message you submit through the early-access form.
  • Conversation content: if you use the voice or chat assistant, the content of that conversation (text and, for voice, audio and its transcript).
  • Usage and device data: standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected automatically.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to your early-access request and contact you about US availability.
  • To operate and improve the voice and chat assistant and our website.
  • To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers

We share information only with service providers that help us run the service — for example, website and database hosting, voice and AI processing, and email delivery. They may process information only on our instructions. A current list of our sub-processors is available on request at niklas@skalr.app.

4. We do not sell or share your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA.

5. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; request deletion of your personal information; request correction of inaccurate information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell or share); and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise any of these rights, email us at niklas@skalr.app. We will verify your request and respond as required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep early-access and conversation data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, then delete or anonymize it. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

7. International transfers

SKALR operates from Germany (EU). Depending on the service provider, your information may be processed in the EU and/or the United States under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. By using the early-access page you understand that your information may be processed in these locations.

8. Children

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as our US offering evolves. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
